Motion and physics

How interactive objects move on their own and answer a drag, and how to calm them down.

2 min read

Interactive objects can move by themselves, a slow turn or a drift, and they answer the hand: a cube spins and settles, a membrane stretches and springs back, a depth card tilts towards the pointer.

Templates that have physics controls let you set how lively they are. A calmer setting reads better on a page full of other things.

TipVisitors who have asked their device to reduce motion see objects at rest. They can still drag them.
